About Brownie Points
Brownie Points started with a simple idea — that small gestures can mean a lot — and we feel that right now the world needs more of these.
Sometimes it's celebrating a win. Sometimes it's saying "I'm thinking of you." Sometimes, it's just because!
We wanted to create something that made it easy to show up for people — in a way that feels thoughtful, personal, and a little bit special.
Every box is baked in small batches, fully gluten-free, and designed to fit through the letterbox — so sending something kind doesn't need to be complicated.
Because a box of brownies is nice. But a box of brownies with meaning?
That's something people remember.
Why we really built this.
Brownie Points was started by Clio and her husband, Sam, a couple who between them have spent years believing that the smallest gestures can create the biggest moments.
Picture the friend who opens her door to find a box on the mat, she'd just passed her exam and someone thought to say: we knew you could do it, here are your brownie points. Or the grandma whose face lit up receiving something through the post just for her, on an ordinary day, for no reason at all. Or the neighbour who hasn't been out much lately, and a box arriving that says: we're thinking of you, sweet days are ahead.
These aren't grand gestures. They're small ones. But they land.
Clio has coeliac disease, which meant that for years, the good stuff just wasn't for her. The birthday cake. The office biscuits. The treat through the post. Coming back to London after living in Vanuatu, where community is woven into everything, where kitchens spill outside and strangers become friends over a meal (or a shell), she and her husband wanted to build something that brought a little of that warmth into people's letterboxes.
Brownie Points is that something. Gluten free brownies that actually taste incredible, because everyone deserves the good stuff. Messages that mean something, because everyone deserves to feel thought of. And the option to pass that feeling on to someone in your local community who could use a little good news.
Because joy is better when it's shared.
How we give back
Every order gives you the option to add a donation. 100% of that donation goes towards brownie boxes for people in our local community, delivered through partnerships with local charities.
We're at the beginning of this. The numbers are small right now. But we'll share every box we send, every person we reach, and every update as this grows, because we think transparency matters and because we want you to feel part of it.
